A connoisseur's prize - the Champagne of Teas. The Darjeeling second flush tea is an elusive treat. Its distinct sweetness develops over the course of only 2 weeks each year in Darjeeling's Gopaldhara Estate. The brewed cup is reminiscent of the Muscat family of grapes (from which it gets its name, Muscatel). The high measure of flavonoids in the tea are known to lower levels of bad cholestrol (LDL) and elevate levels of good cholestrol (HDL).
